Wangi Felixe estate has been our family’s private holiday residence since 2002. It is in one of the loveliest places in East Bali where we spend our holidays with family and friends, in peace and quiet. We enjoy the same luxury as in a 5-star hotel, the main difference being that in a private holiday home there are no other guests to take into account. It feels just like home. The sole aim of the friendly staff is to make everything to one’s liking. A unique experience that we want to share with everyone looking for peace, privacy and luxury.

The buildings are in authentic Balinese style. The open spaces of the rooms afford splendid views of the tropical garden and provide privacy where required.
The estate was recently completely renovated. The interior has been fully adjusted to conform with the luxury and comfort of a 5-star resort. The modern design and use of materials inspired by Balinese architecture and Feng Shui harmonise perfectly with the natural setting. The tasteful combination of marble and wood makes for a luxurious and tranquil atmosphere in the rooms.

From the lounge area on the first floor of the traditional Wantilan villa you have a panoramic view of the surroundings. Thanks to the refreshing breeze it is a delightful place to relax with others or to have a private yoga lesson.
The villa’s ground floor houses the master bedroom: a spacious suite with a de-luxe king-size double bed and a stylish sitting-room with a fine view of the lotus pond. Here, you can unwind completely.

The luxurious guest house has three roomy double bedrooms with generous king-size beds. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, an outdoor shower and its own veranda plus garden.
Maximum privacy is guaranteed. After all, it’s pleasant to be alone sometimes, to read a book, or just enjoy the view. In the serene bedroom with private outdoor space, you can recharge your batteries and wake up refreshed every morning.

Balinese outdoor life energises and relaxes. The rooms indoors merge seamlessly into the beautifully laid-out garden and harmonise with nature.
A tropical paradise, where you can wander or enjoy the quiet of the lotus pond. The spectacular view over the rice fields extends to the sea and the island of Lombok. In the background, you can see the impressive Mount Agung volcano.

The restaurant has a charming view of the garden and the rice fields. A delightful place to linger over a meal with friends and relatives. Our private chef is trained in 5-star hotels and prepares the most delicious authentic Balinese specialities and Western dishes. Every morning a lavish breakfast awaits you. The chef will make lunch and dinner for you, entirely in keeping with your taste and wishes – just let him know what you feel like. And, of course, your dietary requirements and special preferences are taken into account.

It’s pleasant to spend time at the private pool. You can read a book quietly in the shade of the Bale next to the pool. A Bale is a traditional Balinese pavilion containing a daybed. Here you can quietly enjoy the view of the garden and then take the occasional dip in the pool to cool down. After which you can relax on a lounger and be pampered with a refreshing drink or some fruit.

The estate is situated at a height of 300 metres, where a refreshing breeze makes for a pleasant temperature. Another advantage: no annoying mosquitoes! Set in the nature of East Bali and far from mass tourism and back packers, it is a delightful spot to unwind completely. With staff who will pamper you and a chef who cooks divinely, you don’t need to go off the estate. Though there’s plenty to do in the surroundings. In East Bali you experience authentic Indonesia. The host not only knows the best places in Bali, he also arranges any excursions and private transport.

The estate is an excellent starting point for exploring East Bali. It’s a 10-minute walk from the garden to the famous Tirtagangga water palace. The coastal village of Amed is a perfect spot for diving and snorkelling. For a unique experience, you can take a walk through the rice fields round the green hills of Sidemen. Beach lovers can enjoy White Sand Beach, one of Bali’s prettiest beaches. Whether you’d like to have a day trip or just visit a Balinese temple, you can enjoy the luxury of a private driver, who will pick you up and take you back whenever you like.
